About flowxscale

Health-tech from Cape Town. We build clinical documentation software for private practices, designed POPIA-first. Our first product, ATTEND, is built for psychiatry practices.

Why psychiatry

Inpatient psychiatry carries a specific paperwork load: a numbered progress report for every admitted patient every week, an admission report at admission, and the medical scheme's own form for each funded stay. The structure of those documents barely changes; the content is the doctor's clinical judgement. That combination — stable form, expert content — is exactly the kind of problem software should take off a clinician's evening.

We chose to start where the burden is heaviest and the privacy stakes are highest. If the approach holds for psychiatric records, it holds anywhere in private practice.

How we work

Small and deliberate. We ship the plain PDF that is right before the clever feature. Learning from a doctor's corrections is reviewed by a person before it changes anything. And we would rather say designed to than claim a thing is deployed before it is — which is why the security page reads the way it does.
